Chapter 2

Mark was his name. He wore a black leather jacket with jeans. He had been doing business for about two years now. He graduated from the University of Rome with his Masters degree in business administration. All he could talk about was going on vacation. It seemed that he was tired of working. Life as a business tycoon in Hawaii was burning him out.

He often went on visits to Germany. After all, he is German. He knew how to speak perfect German, thanks to his parents. When he was about five years old his parents only spoke to him in German. His mother came from the Netherlands. He retained no knowledge of the language. It wasn’t as important to him as German.
